i got into the LPVO game and while I admittedly havent shot a ton thru that particular AR, my RDS equipped carbines are faster on target and more intuitive for me. Could be that i have very little experience with magnified optics.LAPD CCW Timeline:

I was building a AR for a friend of a friend. He wanted an AR that he could hit long shots with as well as home protection, also didn't want to clean it. I found and installed a piston kit then proceeded to show him other options like a better trigger and scope on one of my target ARs. He couldn't tell the difference between my Triggertech set at 2lb and the stock milspec. It was then that I knew the lowest LPVO would be fine for him too...Comment

Lol, hell no. LPVOs rock and are here to stay. They are definitely not “the flavor of the month”. Like others said, people are probably just upgrading. It’s normal to buy multiple optics and sell the one you like less.Partisanship is cancer. Glory to the USA, glory to Ukraine, and I hope that someday Russia is free and the normal people have a voice.

I prefer a fixed 3x or 4x with an offset RDS. I can get torso hits from a long way with a 4X. I mostly used any higher magnification than that for observation only.Comment
