I love unusual bets or challenging people to bets I know I'll win when people are running their mouth and full of bluster.

I've challenged people here to put their money where their mouth is they always run away with tail tucked between their legs. I will back up any claim I make either online or in person with a bet.

I would keep referring to "Glock" or "Assault Weapon" and how many of them are out there and they're the ones who are killing children as we speak. Once they pick up the "Yeah, Glocks, ARs are evil" mindset then explore how you make your bet.
IMO, design the wager limiting them to their BS about,,, 'walking into a gun show or local gun store and walking out a little later with either OR something similar'. Don't forget they probably have no clue about ammo regulations.

They'll never pay you but you'll always have that over them,,, priceless.

They can't legally buy a modern gun and ammo to bring to you within the "week" because of the 10 day waiting period, unless the C&R+COE exemptions can be met with their purchase which I assume they wouldn't be able to. Also, proving someone "wrong" isn't the best way to "win" someone over and cause them to come to our side, if anything they'll just end up being more bitter about it and probably will hate guns even more.

I wouldn't make that bet. What's the point? You aren't going to turn them into 2nd Amendment supporters. Make it $5 grand for them to lose. They're getting 2 to 1. They should take it if they're confident in their knowledge. If they smell a rat and do some research before taking the bet, you've accomplished your goal right there.

In CA I can walk right out the door same day with this and ammo, and I am not a cop.

You'd lose that bet if you made it against the wrong person.
