    FFLs to receive stripped lowers?

I want to order a couple of lowers, but the shop I used previously no longer offers that service. Can someone recommend a good shop? I am located in Martinez, in the East Bay.

Here you go. Might be a bit of a drive but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.

    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Thanks. That's not bad at all. I thought you were going to suggest driving to Auburn or something.

I was under the impression an FFL had to to transfers by law. What changed?

They do not have to do "out of state" transfers. They do have to do in state "private party transfers".

Have you searched online for a private FFL/holder in your area? I use a private FFL (retired peace officer) not a shop, charges me $20 to receive a single firearm and $10 for every other one if doing multiple transfers at one time. DROS and of course tax. By the way UGImports is super chill, very knowledgeable, hassle free...just gotta schedule your appointment.

Glaser arms in Brentwood. Shipped a few rifles to them and was quickly in n out. My go to FFL and they do ammo transfers/PPT’s.

                Brentwood is even better. Thanks.

There was an FFL in Martinez that worked out of his house. Don't remember his name. Steep driveway to garage.

Edited to add: Last name Smith comes to mind.

Kevin Smith. Not sure if he is still in business.

I bought my first firearm through Kevin. I wish he was still around.

Additionally, when they do an out of state transfer, they can charge whatever they want.

Not to be a butthole, but if your fingers can type your question, can't they be used to call around and use the Googles?

They can. But what is this forum for then if not for questions like this?
