We agree to universal background checks. We get universal CCW.

Two days later the left begins the process of repealing universal CCW.

It should be a given that a tracking background check would include a 50 state CCW because that law is so narrowly tailored to make sure that only non-criminals (as proven by the tracking background check) would be legally carrying.
Anybody not "clear" on their tracking background check would not be able to carry legally.

However, I don't want to get smoked in the back of my melon by Grandpa Liberalce P. Fuddsworth, so I think that there should be a national training certification course that is free or extremely low cost that comes with benefits. I want people to get training and be proficient.

I would want a national standard that ALL concealed weapon carriers (including LE) can complete which will allow you to carry pretty much anywhere LE can carry and give you the same legal protections as LE should you find yourself in a fight for life situation. Incentivize people to get training.

As for trading rights? No. You have to remember that the people who killed Anne Frank were following the laws and the people who hid her were breaking them. I'm not trading anything. A man has a duty to ignore unjust laws.

An ongoing federal tracking background check (just like a CA COE is inside CA by the way) should absolutely bypass the whole DROS and NICS requirements since it would be PROOF of a clean background simply by checking the status of the tracking background check.
If it's clean, you should be able to carry anywhere and purchase a gun anywhere.
Even across state lines because federal is the same in all 50 states.
It should even get you to carry on public transportation and airplanes and to bypass security almost everywhere in the country.

The positive benefits of such a program could go far and wide.
