I won a 13 week “all inclusive” vacation at a resort Island from a Marine Corp recruiter back in 1981. Thought he said it was on Hilton Head, but turned out to Parris Island. Part of a four year, no refund, package deal.

I've won one from Eotech some time ago, a XPS3 and magnifier set. They issued a 1099 for the winning value so it's not completely free.

bit of a sidetrack but usually it's $1200 or more value gets reported. Same for lottery scratchers and such. I do know someone that won one of those cars at a casino, just weeks after winning $30k at a slot machine. I don't mind signing up for some of these giveaways, as I have an email account I use for just this kind of stuff, not my bills and personal stuff.

CRPA and GOC have a gun a week giveaway and they list the winners on their website every week. All or most are Ca. winners. SAF also has a giveaway that seems legit also. So many cynics, join a few Ca. orgs. and enjoy.

Normally, I just make an annual donation to a NRA-ILA or CRPA Foundation. I'd rather they keep the magazines, duffle bags, hats etc. However, if they are going to give the firearm away anyways, why not me? I saw on theCRPA website the last giveaway was a Walter P22, but I couldn't see past giveaways. Is this a typical giveaway value?

won lots! skb shotgun, remington 700, browning boss rifle, 1022, etc.. wife won a worldwide, 1 in 26 winners,to the MTV movie awards. It came with with limo and hotel she sat behind mel gibson!

also won a movie premiere,shared a limo with tony curtis...
