A lot of people here forget that these “ link sharing” type contest are for a “chance” to win and nothing is guaranteed. Read the fine print and you’ll see why you never really hear about the winners

Father in law won the Irish Sweepstakes when he was a young man. He was able to buy a house in Westchester near LAX with the winnings.

I just keep paying $10-$20 to loose every drawing the last couple years.

A $2,500 computer on a pc forum once. I do not enter gun stuff anymore such as those from that gunblast.com site that always has a giveaway going, When ever I enter that thing I just get a hell of a lot of junk emails coming my way that take for ever to unsubscribe from them all.

I always laugh. These giveaways are the same data collecting scams you see at the mall. You know, that roped off car you can win with the stands and pads of papers you fill out with all of your contact info.

But gun owners take it one step further with their referral links that gets them 'more entries'. You can't escape from the penny pinching nature of gun owners.

I can't speak for GoC or FPC but I can say for sure that the CRPA drawings and giveaways are legit.

We discuss them at the Board of Directors meetings, both planning upcoming giveaways and acknowledging the latest winners.

I won a Winston Cup cooler at Dover raceway when I was a kid, Richard Petty handed it to me.

I won a glock 27 at a fundraiser for sheriff Corona years ago, cost me $5. Still carry it.
