All I see is undocumented panic over an Ammoland video that apparently has been withdrawn. For Heaven's sake, stop spreading FUD! We have enough issues to deal with as is.

Has anyone seen an actual letter? Every reference I have found points back to the same YT video and the ammoland article (which is 404 page not found)

Can someone explain this 2017 approval letter?

So the Ammoland article was again redacted and this link to a PDF document was added:

The article says the 2017 letter from BATFE to SB Tactical is an approval of the SBTactical SOB and SBM4 braces, contrary to their 2018 letter that only the SB15 and the MPX SB were approved. Maybe half of my brain is still asleep, but does the first 2017 letter say the SOB and SBM4 braces were approved as well?

Glad I never sold my SB15, though.

Yes, at least ATF said SB15 are SB MPX were approved.

Plus the article on Ammoland shows a letter from ATF to SB Tactical that reportedly says the SOB and the SBM4 also had been approved.

Wish there were more such letters that SB Tactical received that we can access.

OK, so the ATF letters SB Tactical has on the website seem to refer to the original SB15 and the SB MPX. There may be other letters not accessible from the website purportedly showing approval for SOB and SBM4 braces: https://www.ammoland.com/2020/11/atf...brace-letters/

Braces with letters are legal. KAK just put out a statement today, they have letters = legal. The original SB15 is still legal.
