My local big 5 has people lining up an hour and a half to two hours before they open (8-8:30). They got a mossberg in the other week (guy didn't mention which one) and someone was in line at 7am to snatch it up.

You're not a newbie, you've been a member here since 2009 and you must have been aware of the number of different state/national ammo shortages since then, and you haven't taken notice and stocked up?

Quite honestly I'm tired of hearing the same *****ing about ammo. there's obviously been ammo shortages and crisises off and on over the last couple years. if you're waiting until today to line up in front of a store, don't come on here and post a thread complaining about it, reflect upon yourself for being stupid and waiting far too long to acquire items during a crisis. I'm sure you were scrambling to find toilet paper from day one, why did you wait six more months to buy ammo?

Its hard to comment, and if I weren't in a good mood today, I might have just posted that ^ exact statement - Our state line is only roughly 4 hours away. Also, where were you a year ago, or 2, or 3, or 4? Why are you trying so hard to buy ammo now!

Rule of thumb... If you’re waiting in line for guns or ammo, you’re late to the party! Nobody’s fault but yours! Create a relationship with your local mom n pop shop, get on a list with them for notifications. Stop going to the big box stores

Fixed my typo, spelling isn't my strong point and spell check didn't do the topic field. Yes I have been around but I have not been huge into shooting its always been more of a low level hobby/interest. But yeah bottom line my fault
