I bought a Colt Mk IV Series '70 Gold Cup National Match for $303.47. Are you seriously telling me I am prohibited from selling it at the price it now commands?
I bought a pristine P38, all matching #, original holster w/ spare magazine, from the man who killed the SS officer it was originally issued to. I paid him $900 for it in 1998. Are you saying I got ripped off?Freedom is the dream you dream while putting thought in chains.

I understand piling on the OP about selling things at current market prices rather than original sales price; However, before and eve now during the current “sellers market” I have often seen sellers asking more for their used, stock firearm than the price for a new, in stock readily available, identical gun.Comment

Depends on what it is . Some things appreciate and some depreciate. Never annoyed , I find it more humorous when I see somebody asking too much for anything.Comment

If it's not produced in large numbers or it's a model that is out of production, then yes, a used one selling for more than a new example makes a bit of sense if you can't find a new one and a used one manages to find it's way in front of you.Comment

And despite your cherry picked example to support “free market”, we are not IN A free market, and a used Gen 3 G19 is not a series 70 Gold cup. Nor is it a war trophy with provenance.Originally posted by tony270It's easy to be a keyboard warrior, you would melt like wax in front of me, you wouldn't be able to move your lips.Originally posted by repubconservPrint it out and frame it for all I careOriginally posted by el chivoI don't need to think at all..XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXOriginally posted by pjsigYou are talking to someone who already won this lame conversation, not a brick a wall.
