First pistol I bought: Beretta 92 at SF Gun Exchange.
First Rifle I bought: Colt Sporter II, with multiple Colt factory 30-rd mags, also from SF Gun Exchange.
First shotgun I bought: Benelli M3 from The Traders in San Leandro.
    All are loooooong gone. :-(

Haven't sold any of my guns yet. The only 1 I ever got rid of was a Marlin mdl 60 jam-amatic that I gave to my father. He had the same success with it as I had. After he passed away, it made its way back to my safe. I'm going to give it another try someday.

I still have the 1st gun that I bought when I was 10, over 50 years ago. It's a Crosman 760 BB/pellet rifle. It stopped working a long time ago until a few years ago when I decide to disassemble it and found that all it needed was a couple of o-rings. Spent a lot of time in the woods with that thing shooting at anything that moved. Ok, I was just a kid. That's what we used to do.

The first gun I bought was a Ruger Blackhawk, 357, SS. I paid $207.00 for it. This was in the mid 80s. It looks as good now as the day I bought it.
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

First handgun I bought was a S&W M&P Shield 9mm 1.0. Still have it four years later and its honestly my preferred carry handgun. Also a bit sentimental to me because it was my first firearm purchase ever, plus it was a present to myself for slogging it through Army Basic Training and AIT School.

First rifle was a Type 99 Arisaka. Turned around and sold it a year after I bought it to pay some bills, and only reason I didn't regret it was because I already bought a second one in better condition than the one I sold.

First shotgun was a beat-up Winchester 1897 Trap Model shotgun. It's one of the ugliest guns I own due to the finish being worn and small cracks galore on the wood furniture, but seeing as I love the aged look of it and I'm just not much of a shotgun person, I've managed to convince myself to hold onto it for whenever my buddies say they want to hit the trap or skeet range instead of the rifle or pistol range. That and so I can at least say I do have a shotgun.

My first firearms ever were a P226, an AR-15, and a Springfield Armory M1A but those were gifted to me instead of bought, so they don't really count. For the gifts I still got the 226, the only thing that's the same on the AR is the lower receiver and the lower parts kit sans pistol grip, and the M1A got gifted to my father since he liked it enough that he wanted to keep it. Least it gave me an excuse to go buy a replacement M1A.

I will never get rid of the first gun I bought. My dad had a Sig 226 when I was a kid and never got to shoot it even with how much I always wanted to. Shot everything else he owned but not that one. When he died I was 17 and my family got rid of his guns. Twelve years later when the opportunity and desire presented itself, I got one and will always keep it.

Now, if I could find a Colt King Cobra in blue for a reasonable price.....

Still have it. S&W Model 13 .357 magnum. $147.00 purchase price. Bet it's not even in the DOJ AFS system, it was that long ago.

Colt Trooper MK V 357 magnum with a beautiful 6" blue ribbed barrel. I was 21 and bought it at Longs Drugs in Visalia. It's sitting on the top shelf in my safe.

Remington 572 BDL. When I got out of tech school and received my first paycheck I went to a long gone, defunct store called "Best" and bought it. Still own the 572 and still love that rifle.

My first, too. Bought it the month I discharged.

Wish I wouldn't have sold her.

Yep, still have the Glock 17 that I bought with the gun show loophole in Glendale.
