Keymod vs M lok

Which one do you prefer and why?

M-Lok. Mostly because with keymod, I need to add panels otherwise it will act as a cheese grater on my hands. Not so much with m-lok, I can leave it alone and it will not bother me.

Also because Kinetic's QD Mlok mounts come in really handy for things like quick release bipod or quick release light.

Look back to discussion about 3 years ago. Military testing confirmed M Lok is better than key mod so M Lok is the de facto standard.

I missed the keymod boat but got a mid-long range rig and it had M lok slots for stuff.

It locks up solid. Mostly just a QD bipod.

Now I have M lok on my AR as well.

I have both, but Keymod is getting phased out, which means accoutrements for it will be as well. Like it it not, M-lok is the wave of the future.

Key Mod is dead, they are planning the funeral now. If you buy a Key Mod handguard then buy the accessories now while you still can.

Mlok is more aesthetically pleasing to me, so that's why I prefer it... Just to be honest

I use Keymod adaptors to attach MLok sections to my 1913 picatinny rail on my SKS.
