    Too short.
    He already HAS a pro-comp.
I measured the barrel at about 15.75" with the pro-comp and the crush washer installed.
Warcomp is longer than a procomp.
I pulled out a Warcomp from my scrap bin and installed it on his barrel and it was 15.87" long.

In 2013 ish, 13.7 barrels were pretty popular. This barrel length was made for the Noveske flaming pigs if I remember correctly.
The B.E. Meyers 249F just so happened to work out being over 16 because of how damn long it is.
Although you may disagree with what I say. We both know damn well you will defend my right to say it.

                  Two problems.
First, his barrel is a 5.56 and has 1/2-28 threads so that 5/8-24 threaded brake will not thread on to his barrel.
Second, that brake overlaps the barrel by 3.37" and only adds 1.45" of length forward of his barrel's existing muzzle.
That would leave his barrel at about 15.2" long.

                    13.7 + 2.6 = 16.3
Your formula does not account for the muzzle device being THREADED on to the barrel...
The muzzle device overlaps the barrel bu the length of the threads.
Actual formula is barrel length - thread length + muzzle device length.
                    13.7-0.6+2.6=15.7
                    14.5-0.6+2.6=16.5

Warcomp yes I think it would. GT has a vid where Sons of Liberty used their NOX dead air and I’m almost positive they didn’t use shims or washers.

                        Warcomp is 2.7" long.

                        13.7"-0.6"+2.7"=15.8"

Is it really that hard for people to do the math?
Why does everyone forget about the fact that the muzzle device threads OVER the barrel so you LOSE the length of the threads when figuring out the finished barrel length?

He needs at least 3.0" of muzzle device in order to be at least 1/10" over 16" which should be safe to most LEO measuring methods.

The SOL NOX is 2.866" long.

                        13.7"-0.625"+2.866=15.941"
At least that's well within shimming range.
You normally have to shim a muzzle device to get it to time correctly.
If we use a crush washer, it would definitely work.

                        13.7"-0.625"+0.110"+2.866=16.051"
