High Desert Roundup at Slash X has been canceled.
BLM was following the 'stay at home' orders of our wonderful governor, so no telling where things are today.
Just came home from taking the dog to the beach and while the beach is open there no parking anywhere along PCH (Ventura County, south of Mugu rock)

Where you talking about OP, Calico area?

Only the improved campground (toilets/tables), are closed. The desert is open, Outlet Center, Hodge (East side for camping), Mule Canyon.......................

One of the old school Del Tacos is in Barstow and they make the Big Del like no one else. Other than that there's about 3 weeks in the spring and a month in the fall where it's not too hot, too cold or too windy for shooting. Been there when it was so windy that the bullets would get blown right back in our faces.

No matter what I do, if I'm in that area, I'll always stop by that del taco and get some carnitas burritos and barstow tacos.

Was at hodge rd this weekend. It was pretty busy we ended up circling around the hills to find a not so crowded area. All of campers and bbqing.

I got off at Minneola Road a week and a half ago and I didn't see anyone else out there. There is a dirt road going north that I take. It did require a 4x4 because of the sand and was a little bumpy but we had fun.
