Which was why I said that he probably wasn't selling for a long time. But can't you just make a brand new account in like 2 minutes? How can he blame his marriage on his failing ebay business?

Customers are like bosses. They are not always right but they are always the boss (or the customer).

I work for a small business that is doing pretty well, even now. Its not because we are geniuses at anything. its because customers expect a lot from us and they usually get it.

Its not unusual for us to work 70 or 80 hours a week to get a machine running, or a design finished. I have worked weekends and holidays to accommodate customer demands that even they know are unrealistic.

And its not like you do it once and that is it. They expect it over and over again. Just the way the world works these days.

The thing is that now and then we screw up. We fix it. Sometimes it is a serious inconvenience to our customers, but we fix it. They expect that from us too.

I applaud Mr. Freakshow for doing his best to work through his problems. In the long run he will end up with customers who remember that when he had problems, he did not just abandon his customers.
