When You go back to the range to test out your P226, you might get approached by a fellow shooter offering to let you try out his CZ-75...........

    rinse, wash, repeat !

Its funny, as nice as the P226 was ZI still prefer my Beretta. Just ordered a D spring for it to make the DA pull a little better, but my DA shots with the Beretta are usually pretty accurate and consistent (surprisingly).

I just bought a shotgun, so no other gun purchases for the time being unless a screaming deal on a P226 comes my way. It's not the firearm that's the expensive part necessarily, it's then getting a box or a safe to secure it at home, stocking up on ammo, other accessories like a range bag, extra mags, cleaning supplies, time at the range. I've already spent quite a bit and after the Beretta and Mossberg and stocking up on quite a bit of ammo so I don't have to go to the store every time I go to the range it's time to take a little break and go back to being a responsible adult and saving!

Responsible adult and Calguns are incompatible entities.

Just to add to your new found joy I suggest buying a DA/SA Revolver
Learning trigger control using DA and proper sight picture will help with ANY firearm, something like a 357 you can also use 38 special in to learn using light loads to start, some light target loads can feel like a 22 in recoil in a heavy 357.
Then you have a multi use firearm with a plethora of loads out there

Everyone needs a MSR, when the bay area militia forms up, you'll want to be ready!
