Yes, you CAN fit a case of shotgun shells into a .50cal ammo can.
I think i found an optimal solution for ammo can labeling.
I made this target for the NRA's Marksman pistol test. I think it's a lot better than the paper plate they suggest.Comment

This was a test case for me. I used an repurposed violin case, and the cheapest foam I could get (fabric store). I later swapped it out for the gray foam but didn’t take pics. I’m just trying to get some decent looking (cheap) locking mechanism. I have a small padlock set that will work perfect, but it looks a bit ugly.
I’ve been meaning to make some more, I’ve got a couple of old trombone cases, a tenor sax case or two and of course some more violin cases. But that foam s**t is expensive!Last edited by SonofWWIIDI; 11-24-2019, 2:23 PM.Sorry, not sorry.
