    BEWARE OF MAGLATCH

I'd like to caution anyone thinking of ordering from MagLatch.

I ordered online, they immediately charged my credit card, then went dark.

Maglatch refuses to answer their phone
Maglatch refuses to reply to emails
Occasionally, you can get Maglatch's voicemail (but not often), but they refuse to reply to that too.

I then repeatedly emailed them to cancel 2 orders and they ignored. My orders show online as AWAITING FULFILLMENT, my credit card has not been credited.

Someone else seems to be having a similar issue, see this thread:

Ive bought more than 5 from them. Never an issue. Always shipped immediately. Sorry for your troubles. May be something going on there right now. Who knows. Your credit card will make it right.

It's a small company, and I was not expecting customer support to be there on call. Great product. I havent considered anything else.

this looks like a good fixed mag option.

let me know how it turns out. i should be ordering one as well if they do decide to start shipping.

I've been calling and emailing for about 2 weeks now... with zero human contact, and not a single reply to any of it.

I haven't bought anything from them in several months, but have done half a dozen purchases with no problems before. Hope they get their stuff together. Small outfits like that, something like a family emergency or a slip and fall with a broken leg can wipe out their ability to communicate for a while.

The FNGR is a great fixed mag option.

What's the best way to reload the magazine with it? Open the rear pin and pivot the upper and load the mag with the mag in the lower, or take the device out, mag out, reload, put the mag then FNGR back in? With the first method the upper flips around and maybe to the side and scare the guy next to you. The second method is more work.

You pretty much described the two ways to reload using the FNGR. I use whatever method I feel like using at that time. I feel that mag locks are really only good for firearms that can't be made Featureless. I would prefer to go Featureless over mag lock any day of the week and twice on Tuesday.

Why not just contact your credit card company to dispute the charge?

Personally, I purchased a Mag latch from them and had no issue other than it being overpriced (Nearly $100 for a AK47 mag latch).

You sound like an impatient child who can't read.

                          Directly from their website.

"We ask that you refrain from contacting us*for order status.*When we take time to*respond*it takes time away from production*and shipping orders.*We use a modern ecommerce platform and you*will be notified once your order ships.

We do not keep live inventory at this time. We accept backorders under the pretense that you are comfortable with disassembling your firearm until our product arrives.

We prefer to communicate via email but if you have an emergency please call us: 805-222-0256"

I ordered from them a week ago. My order shipped yesterday. Might want to get your facts straight before trashing a company.

                              Hi Vinnie,

                              Just to clear the air:
                              7/11/19: Order was placed.
to 7/18/1: Customer sent 9 emails with a final email requesting a cancellation. At this date that gives us 3 working days to process his order. We ship tues-fri.
7/24: Refund issued. (still at 8 working days which is between our average of shipping)

As stated on our shipping policy page of our website: Any order is subject to product lead time. All products have a lead time of 7-14 business days. Yes, this can be up to 2 weeks from the date you placed your order. I realize that's not "amazon" expectations but we set the expectations clearly on our website before your order was placed. I apologize that we were unable to process your order in the speed you expected.
