7/24: Refund issued. (still at 8 working days which is between our average of shipping)

As stated on our shipping policy page of our website: Any order is subject to product lead time. All products have a lead time of 7-14 business days. Yes, this can be up to 2 weeks from the date you placed your order. I realize that's not "amazon" expectations but we set the expectations clearly on our website before your order was placed. I apologize that we were unable to process your order in the speed you expected.

Thanks for finally responding, Dan. I ordered on July 10th, and immediately had questions about the order.... It would have been nice if someone was available via phone, or email. You should not be charging people's credit cards for product you re not prepared to ship. Your main store, http://www.goodlandguns.com/ at least answers their phone, even if you don't. How you can run a business like this is anyone's guess.

I just checked, and no credit has been made to my credit card yet. I'll cross my fingers and see what happens.

Seems the problem is real enough, in case anyone was doubting...

I appreciate the information I have received in this thread and it will inform me as I shop for compliance or other parts in the future.

I also appreciate the vendor wading in to the fire, if nothing else to at least let us know they’re still around. I would encourage them to use the communication power of their website. Something like ‘orders placed xx/xx/xxxx to xx/xx/xxxx are expected to be shipping the week of xx/xx/xxxx. Big and bold. Sometimes you can answer a hundred or a thousand inquiries with a simple edit.

Vinnie, please re-read my response you quoted. Especially the last paragraph. These expectations were published when you placed your order.

As stated in our email discussion last night the refund was processed after the days settlement so it will be included in todays settlement.

                    Hey Phil,

We've responded to 2/3 of your requests to date within hours of receiving them. It looks like your 3/3 dealer inquiry was overlooked because it was sent through the general contact form and not the dealer signup page. I've corrected the issue and sent you an email.

These expectations are NOT published on your homepage, nor on the product ordering pages. It is only when you search your website for the contact info can you find that blurb.

i appreciate that. i can't lose sales when there is no one tk talk to. i can get in touch with dozens of vendors instantly or within a few hours by phone or email. i almost lost a $3000 sale until i paid a premium to get parts from a competitor at retail. i called 5 times a day for a week before i bought elsewhere. vm full is fine as long as someone picks up the phone once in a while. but not my company so not my say.

I'll be ordering again to see how it goes.

Regardless of any lead time, which may or may not have been made plainly visible on the website to the customer, zero communication with the customer after they've tried many times via both email and phone is unacceptable. It takes no time at all to read and reply to an email or two. I do it all day every day among a million other things. Lack of timely communication will negatively impact a business, big or small, and is 100% avoidable.
