    No Gun Training

Friends as a FORMER NRA pistol instructor, it is my belief that those who teach safety or marksmanship should avoid trying to recruit nearly every liberal to the progun side by actually giving them a lesson.
Teaching violent, immoral, non religious types is like pouring gasoline on a fire.

These continuing event from a major cities is evidence these people are dangerous ands unstable.

NationalSentinel) Thugs and cowards who assemble and attack others under the banner of ‘Antifa’ struck again in the Marxist enclave of Portland, Ore., on Saturday, attacking independent journalist Andy Ngo and drawing the ire of a U.S. ambassador.

One person captured the attack on his phone. see link.
Democrats believe one mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter . These democrats enflamed by big democrat media are heroes in Portland where the mayor, police and residents offer their auspices to the enforcement arm of DNC!

Training your pet to be an attack/guard dog can help you, training your neighbors pet to do the same could harm you.

on a bigger scale, the same analogy as the 911 terrorists. they were trained to fly and didn't care about the landing.

I agree. If they can't be convinced to adopt a Pro-2A position, they are the opposition and should not be trained. Convert, then train.

If you're in a position to offer professional firearms instruction, you really should be running background checks on your students prior to class.

A little while back when James Holmes went on his little rampage, the authorities were calling around to local instructors about him. You don't want that kind of attention...

How would this be helpful to ensure wrong people don’t get training? Not everyone agrees with the NRA at this point in time, and those who are legal residents can’t be trained?

Legal residency/citizenship is already checked when DROSing a gun. Association with groups is not necessarily required to be a safe gun owner.

Many more "lefties" are soft lefties than the hard core idiots who get all the attention. I have personally seen quite a few people seriously reconsider their position on guns after being exposed to the actual shooting and guns. Just the fact that we are not beer drinking, knuckle dragging hillbillies, but their neighbors and community leaders, is often sufficient to have them start thinking.

OP, you put a spin on a subject that is far more reaching than most people understand. Teach a mild lefty shooting skills and our sport in general seems, on the surface as harmless. But once they are taught, they teach and it goes on and on. I agree with you 100 percent. It is they that are the aggressors.

My focus currently is on promoting and teaching to church members. They have demonstrated an allegiance to god and morality. I will teach the basics once, after that its join the NRA to continue.

It's my personal belief Christians will be one of the 1st targets, if voters put in a socialist.
A free press would ask Bernie how he plans on implementing the killing fields. We know Nuke em Swallwell has his plan down pat.

I don't understand ANTIFA; if you were in fact anti-fascist, wouldn't you, above ALL else, support the 2nd Amendment and the People's right to keep and bear arms against tyranny and fascism? - i.e., to avoid a Chancellor of Germany part 2 situation?

You might dislike Trump, and while misguided, I can see how if you believed the ruse the media like Yahoo, Mother Jones, CNN, Bloomberg, etc., is perpetuating, it would lead you to think Trump is a fascist; regardless, wouldn't you still support the NRA being anti-fascist?

It seems they are quite confused about their motives and purpose.

What does religion have to do with gun ownership? I'm not religious at all, but I still strive to be a good, moral person. And I like to shoot.
