if only we could have some kind of card that says we could buy ammo
and if you do something that prohibits you from buying they take it away from you when you are arrested or tried

No delay in the law, wally world just needs time to implement and train for the new b.s. system.

Well, last week it was until the 7th but the reasons for why, I have posted in other threads discussing this. And I was suspicious that they would be able to deploy the new POS systems in that tine frame. No doubt the last minute added regs by DOJ did not help.

I was told by my local Walmart that they still don't have all the answers or guidance to implement the program. The DOJ is still too effed up.

Most gun and ammo dealers haven't heard anything from the DOJ last time I asked.

I spoke to the lady at the Walmart in Simi Valley who treat the ammo counter like her own domain. She was very knowledgeable on ammo and the situation.

She said the reason was because they are re-arranging their counters and ammo cases for better viewing, separating the ammo handling from other products, time needed for licensing and training on the new protocols, and they want to set up a better "system" for handling customers on the ammo background checks, and possibly a separate register that is ONLY used for ammo purchases. She also expected there could be delays and service issues with the DOJ site so they thought it best to be out of service to avoid "out of service" delays, to be expected, for sure.

                  Strange but true.

Im guessing most gun shops wont be prepared to sell ammo on July 1st , all ammo vendors will have a delay of some type.

I’m sure the DOJ is about as prepared for ammo background checks as they were for AW registration.

How many hundred dollar bills is the DOJ charging vendors for their "special" software?

For sure. I mean, no sense in implementing and training in the latter part of June.

They have no idea how the system will work. Hard to train/learn when they have 0 info on how it will work, if it will work. Thanks Ca.

Since WM will be doing background checks, I wish they would start selling guns in California again.
