The low-key approach would be to contact the rangemaster and let him deal with it.

The passive-aggressive approach would be to shoot his target.

The evil jerk approach would be to shoot his target stand.

When someone is being a jerk like that tell the RO - that is a normal situation that we deal with.
I'm only smiling at you while you talk to me because it's hilarious that you really think I give a crap about you.

As I've gotten older I thought I was gaining patience, then I realized I simply don't give a crap.

Funny But it's not his, unfortunately... You could ask the RM, though, "which one of these would you like more: to straighten out that guy, or to repair that target stand?"

Sorry to hear about this jerk screwing with your B-day fun. I don't think what he did was rude. I think it's more like he was a "STUPID" ***hole, just my opinion.

I don't get out to the ranges as often as I'd like. Do they (the ranges) setup where you can put a set of targets at 25yds and then the guy next to you at 50yds?

You handled it like a mature adult. Sometimes that's the best we can do. There seems to be an a.h. behind every bush.

Full up. I usually go early so by the time it is filling up I'm ready to leave so I guess if I had stuck to my usual plan this wouldn't have happened. In this case it defused the situation by moving on.

If it were full how would he have been able tot move a couple benches down

Sometimes it is best to just walk away, then there are those days when you let your firearm fling hot brass in their direction. You have to make the call.
