I used to shoot 4 or 5 rounds of trap and skeet multiple times a week and never had headaches.
Sore shoulder occasionally but no headaches.
Di you have some kind of funky stock on there?

Shooting often causes headaches during menstruation. Just wait a week and try again.

Are you shooting indoors or outdoors?

The vibration can travel efficiently into your head through the cheek bone.

You may want to get the stock fitted properly for you. That will go a long way to alleviating discomfort while shooting your 12 ga.

              Definitely get that stock fitted.
When I first started shooting skeet and trap, my cheek would get sore. Turned out that my length of pull was off, I had it corrected and no more issues.

Different gun/different kick...I actually think the Kriss Vector 45 kicks my cheek more than a 12 gauge. For some reason that gun seem to kick upwards into my face where a 12 gauge seems to push backwards. I'm a small guy to boot.

It's you, not the firearm. You might want to get a doctor to check you out for fitness for the sport.

Kim Rhode is reported to shoot 500 to 1000 rounds per day everyday while training for the Olympics or other tournaments. And if you've ever heard her speak, there is absolutely nothing wrong with her.

You’re definitely doing something wrong. Might be your cheek weld. Go back out with someone that knows what they’re doing and trouble shoot.

yeah, something isn't right if you're cheek weld is sending a shock to your head.
                          then again, everyone is different.
some people can't be comfortable underwater, no matter how well they do in diving classes and pool dives.
some women reportedly have teeth in their v-jayjays.

                            Heck, why not a 410?

Actually, Kim Rhode can borrow my man card; she's awesome.

Dehydration is a contributing factor, I give you that. I went straight to Angeles Ranges after working out and didn't eat or drink.

+100 Proper technique, training, fitting. I've been intending to check out the shotgun class at Triple B offered through Calguns.
