At some point folks, CA will go for a law that limits (probably severely) the amount on ammo you can keep on hand. And many of you have put a descriptive inventory list of ammo amounts the average person would think is excessive....but sleep tight until the DOJ kicks your door in. You’ve got a few years yet

i think anything over 100,000 rounds is excessive. (for 1 caliber)

10,000 is just an ok amount for 1 year of shooting, or a few hours at the range with a full auto setup.

An ammo storage limit is impossible to enforce without violating your basic constitutional rights,

I'm sure that will mean a lot to the SWAT officer throwing a flash-bang into your baby's crib before they raid your house.

A warning to those who 'stack it deep': some day you may want to/have to move and getting 1.5 tons of ammo across country isn't an easy task. Ask me how I know

I was just about to make an ammo thread because I noticed today that I have really been buying a lot. Mainly because I've found good prices. Turners had fiocci for like $9/box. Then Ammo Bros has S&B and Magtech for the same price. I use to just keep a box or 2 home and buy ammo at the range to shoot. I actually intend to shoot these at the range and buy more defense rounds later.

Oh, a lot for me is like 15 boxes
