We (all california gun owners) keep 50 rounds per caliber. We (all california gun owners) limited our purchases to 50 rounds per month, so it took us several months to create our "oregon stockpile".

After reloading for 6 months I realized that half the cost of the factory ammo we buy is in the brass, and the brass could have endless use. I'll never have to buy 38/357, 45 colt, 45 acp, 9mm and 30-30 again.
