So this happened at the range today...

<4 years till retirement, can't wait to leave this state
California, where all of the good stuff is banned, registered, regulated or prohibited, yay.....
Law abiding firearm owners have no chance in this state.

I think if you showed up with your own handgun and rented a lane and added a rental, then you would haven been fine.Comment

it never happened to me, but some ranges will also require you to bring your own gun (not another person) before they will rent one to you to try.
why? they don't want their guns used for suicide, which happened recently.Comment

Go to the range more often. Then they'll get to know you and trust you. And you'll become a better shooter to boot.Anchors Aweigh

Always been the rule at the 3-4 ranges i frequent. One of them MIGHT let it slide since they know me by name but i wouldnt slight them if they didnt since its a known rule.Comment

It's been the rule at every indoor range for as long as I can remember shooting at indoor ranges. Likely when you had rented the CZ75 a few years ago, it was an employee who either recognized/trusted you and decided to override the rules, or just didn't care about the rules.Comment

This is a rule at every range I have been to.
Did you give them AOC eyes when they said no?
Did you have another gun with you when you rented the CZ?Originally posted by Kestryll:
It never fails to amuse me how people get outraged but fail to tell the whole story in their rants....Comment
