<4 years till retirement, can't wait to leave this state
California, where all of the good stuff is banned, registered, regulated or prohibited, yay.....

Law abiding firearm owners have no chance in this state.

Yup, my local range is the same. Bring a gun to rent a gun.

They thought you wanted to commit suicide. Life isnt that bad if you dont want it to be

I think if you showed up with your own handgun and rented a lane and added a rental, then you would haven been fine.

it never happened to me, but some ranges will also require you to bring your own gun (not another person) before they will rent one to you to try.

why? they don't want their guns used for suicide, which happened recently.

If you would have brought a gun with you I’m sure it would have been fine. My local ranges have the same rule.

Never happened to me but I have heard of it.

Did you have a suicidal look on you when you walked in??

Always name the place when you post about happenings at a location.

Go to the range more often. Then they'll get to know you and trust you. And you'll become a better shooter to boot.

Bring one to rent one. It's to deter the suicidal jerks. One offed himself last year on my birthday when I was shooting there. Nice memories...

Always been the rule at the 3-4 ranges i frequent. One of them MIGHT let it slide since they know me by name but i wouldnt slight them if they didnt since its a known rule.

It's been the rule at every indoor range for as long as I can remember shooting at indoor ranges. Likely when you had rented the CZ75 a few years ago, it was an employee who either recognized/trusted you and decided to override the rules, or just didn't care about the rules.

This is a rule at every range I have been to.

Did you give them AOC eyes when they said no?

Did you have another gun with you when you rented the CZ?
