I went down to a gun store in Boulder city a couple of months ago and bought a new derringer. Walked in, paperwork, walked out with the gun.

Braggadocious!!!....and lucky....and smart.

Now to the post. I haven't purchased new since late 2014 (PPQ M1, G41), and those were SSE purchases. Otherwise, it's probably been since 2013.

However, I've made multiple purchases from the Used/Consignment markets. Just did today. A Ruger Single-Six Colorado Centennial Edition.

And.....I typically have to make 3 trips to do so (buy, DROS, and pickup)....unlike my man in the quote above.
