lol! My buddies have been speechless since I told them i am jumping from the frying pan into the fire. 2nd most restrictive to likely most restrictive in terms of laws, although our AG has a reputation for harrassing everyone and making up rules.

The higher cost of living, housing and taxes will probably eat that up and some.
But you can surf and ski on the same day.

So chances are I end up in Pleasanton (as an initial guess) for school district and commute reasons (office is in Santa Clara). Which I guess means I am SooL in terms of LTC. I am planning a big day at the range with all my buddies, fire to my hearts content, do a BBQ etc.. make a memorable day out of it while I can.
