I visit the range once every 3-4 months. 50 rounds of 40sw and 100 rounds of 22lr both I shoot in my Glock 20sf. Most of my target practice are done using laser cartridge training (i target).Attached FilesComment

If it's CCW "check-in", less than 50 rounds per weapon. Any more than that (actually any more than one mag I suppose) it becomes less instructive as to how I'll do if/when I actually need to do it in real life. Fatigue and overthinking creep in beyond that for me. For drills/scenarios we'll go through maybe 150 - 200 rounds.
Rifle is different as I am a bolt action cold bore/small groups/precision guy [wishful] and don't designate a carbine for defense. So maybe 20 rounds per rifle depending on how well or poorly I'm doing that day.sigpicComment

Do you use a shoulder pad? My friends don't even want to keep shooting after a box each when we throw clay for each other. I was using an airsoft tactical vest the other day and it really mitigated the recoil, just by accident.Comment
