And that is total BSA. He does indeed acknowledge mass shootings. Just not the way the Liberals and their lapdog media want him to. He actually tells the truth about how, while very tragic, they are a rare occurrence.

But again they are trying to change the conversation. The 2A isnt an unalienable right to stop mass shootings. It is an unalienable right to protect yourself. Especially with common use firearms and magazines.

Does KCRA's website count? There was a short article on their website a few days ago. Nothing since.

Heard and saw Newscum bleating like a little beotch on some local networks but nothing at the national level.

It was on Page 3 of the Saturday LA Times, which is to say just short of ignoring it entirely... The article remarked upon how the ruling described anecdotes of self-defense situations in which ammunition on hand was a factor, and further invoked the founding patriots and their views on arms control. How dare he.

Politically, all of these measures exist for show anyway. I can't imagine even the most poorly educated legislator thinks they'll have any direct effect on crime or public safety. Getting the stuffing beat out of them in court is just as bad as a loss at the polls, and one for which they have no obvious retort. Their only play is 9th Circuit shenanigans, and that won't be helped by media exposure pro or con.

I am kinda looking forward to this coming up in court. State argues not having the ban in place is causing it harm. Judge; have you seen one used in a crime yet?

I actually hope to keep this low-key in the mass media. Big attention will draw big reaction.

A handful of web articles only.

I learned about this Friday evening watching Netflix with my wife. I hopped on my phone and opened calguns. About a minute later everyone in my house heard me yell out "HOLY ****!"

My wife was confused why I was busy reading a lengthy court judgment.

Wife said she saw one mention on MSM (Fake) news on friday but it just dropped right off their radar didn't it!

None of the "casual" gun owners I know personally and have talked to since friday have a dang clue.

Shame, 86 pages of great reading.

Washington Post had an article this morning and of course they had to mention mass shootings even though the ruling has nothing to do with them.

Well... yes and no. It is important to "them," viz. the state's monopoly of force lobby, to give the appearance of keeping us down. First you create an enemy to vilify, then you symbolically defeat him -- identity politics 101.

Which is all silly. As any experienced shooter knows, 30 vs. 10 round magazines really don't make that much difference in a kinetic situation. Any decent class will have you doing malfunction drills and reloads to hammer that point home.

I have plenty of grandfathered 30 round magazines. Also plenty of 10-rounders. At Appleseed, the difference in my performance against a 4-minute rapid AQT using big or small magazines is statistically insignificant.

But the symbolic victory for the pro-liberty side is just as valuable, if not more so. The amount of commerce this decision is generating can be tracked, and dollars make a statement. I look forward to the admission that these "not in common use" firearms, using accessories that are "banned," are in fact so widespread that literally millions of magazines were sold in a matter of hours. Now that's what I call political speech.

Kind of like the Boston Tea Party, in fact.
