i've lived in NV for 3 years now, still have all my 10 rounds magazines i bought in CA

i've also purchased standard and higher capacity magazines for all my guns except my Beretta Cheetah .380 and my Browning Hi Power 9mm - bought them before the magazine restriction and they both have the standard 13 round magazines

i still take the ten rounders with me to the range too - im in no hurry and i figure that's just a little less wear and tear on my standard and higher capacity magazines if i use the 10 rounders

might as well get the use out of them - my Beretta Cougar is soon to be difficult to find magazines for - i have 4-10 rounders and 4-15 rounders - i'd rather wear out my 10 rounders and still have my 15 rounders for when i need them

That's a real dilemma. I could just not mention it, but that would be committing the sin of omission, which is the same as a lie. Maybe I'll just mention it when they return the gun after their all done, which will likely never happen in my town anyway.

I have a question - why are fixed magazine rifles still limited to 10 rounds? Besides the laws, I know that... but why?

Historically, what fixed mag rifles could even accept 10+ rounds and why were they explicitly "AWs" when holding 10+ when "featureless" wasn't? What was the reasoning?
It was just an old plywood boat, with a '75 Johnson, with electric choke. A young boy, two hands on the wheel, I can't replace the way it made me feel.

          Great day indeed!!
Well, personally, when I placed an order yesterday I also included some 10 rounders which I knew I would need in a few days or weeks once the 9th Circuit does what it's going to do.

Use them for mag change drills. If they get beat up replace them with standard capacity mags.

CA assault weapons laws round 2.

                  During the 1990s...
The Chinese SKS with factory 20 round fixed magazine was the primary target for the capacity limit for semi-auto centerfire rifles with fixed magazines.
In addition, a fixed 75 round drum for the SKS was also available during this time period.

                    Use Stoeger Cougar magazines.

After Beretta discontinued the Model 8000 Cougar pistol series, they handed it all (machinery/tooling/parts/accessories) over to Stoeger, which continued production of the Cougar series in 9x19mm and .40S&W.

CA legal M1A + standard capacity mag GTG?

Before any appeals etc.... please confirm that a Glock 17 with a factory mag holding 17 rounds and a M1a with 20 round mag are now legal to possess?

                      Thanks

As long as the M1A is compliant. Muzzle brake not flash suppressor.

So you need to have registered your rifle and be featureless to use normal capacity mags. If else you cannot use them if using a mag lock .....

Yes, I hunt with my AR 15 and a full day of walking with a rifle will have you counting ounces.

As far as pistols go I only load 5 rounds at a time for most practice sessions. I get twice as much practice reloading.
