There is no best, but a G26 with a 15rd mag and a mag spacer is mighty fine.
Oh, i mean a 10 rd mag from the larger 9mm with a mag spacer.
Then if needed you can tuck it into your robe pocket, even into your armpit and be in Ninja Stealth mode.

Since you're in California, the best Glock for your home protection needs are as follows:

        Glock 26=10 rounds.
        Glock 19=10 rounds.
        Glock 17=10 rounds.
        Glock 34=10 rounds.

        Whichever model fits you best.
So um... moon labia or something.

Glock 19 for me because its just right for my hand. 17 is a bit too big.

Which one better fits your hand?

People with large hands tend to use larger gripped pistols. People with smaller hands tend to use smaller gripped pistols.

Remember that a lighter weight pistol always has higher felt recoil in the same cartridge then a heavier pistol.

If you want a glock and its for HD only plus youre not drawing from a holster I'd say a G34. Add and light and youre golden. Take some classes and do some IDPA with it. Get used to shooting it.
The liberal see's the glass as half full and tries to take more.
The conservative see's glass as half empty and tries to keep it that way.
I'm with the people on the side just pouring water in the glass trying to get a drink!

Hands down the 34, no question.

34 if its sits in a drawer, 19 if it sits in a holster.

Me personally, although I have a G17 it's not my go-to compared to the other two models I listed in my first sentence.
