Having Mom learn the gun culture is a very smart move even if a relationship doesn't happen quickly.

Personally I think Mom should beginning reading some books written by gun culture folks,like Matt Bracken or even John Ross. That way when she meets a loyal,literate,prosperous shooter they will have lots to talk about and a good basis to continue.

My GF and I found each other by accident and we quickly became a couple when we found out each had read "Atlas Shugged" 3 times ! Although we have been together years,we still use the characters in Rands book to refence current people. We also have read books as mentioned above .

Joining the NRA is also a dude magnet for affluent shooters. Mine was a life member before me .

We will include Mom in our worship service in hopes some one super, is lucky enough to realise how special she is , based on the daughter she raised.

Yeah I'll say ! One time when working a range we had the honor of 2 ICE ladies shooting . My pal had a 458 loaded with 520gn slugs at 2400 fps and those gals both fired that lightweight cannon! I was surprised that not one of those simple guys risked a date !
Of course I asked them why they didn't ask them out!

Seems they were too involved with being macho ! Advice to single guys, you don't have to dress,talk and act like the democrat media portrays you! OMG we are all employed and affluent ! Act it !

Actually, I already got her a gift NRA membership back when they were giving them away for $20 or $25.

And, when we go pick up her Walther I will be signing up nana and all 4 babies with the CRPA. They [CRPA] had somebody going around to gun stores talking about the elections and I guess the gun store will get a commission for every member. Yay, RCGE!
