I pulled all my unwanted ammo apart, made a day of it, dumped the powder in my yard (better than turf builder!) And sold the bullets and brass. Super easy.Originally Posted By CTbuilder1 @ arfcom:

You dumped the powder on your lawn? Let us know what happens if your lawnmower backfires next time you use it.Freedom is the dream you dream while putting thought in chains.

I moved mine out of the house because I was seriously concerned about the load on the floor (raised foundation, not a slab).
I still desire more.Just taking up space in (what is no longer) the second-worst small town in California.Comment

I picked up my first bolt-action, a Ruger Precision Rifle in 6.5creedmor earlier this year. I had years to stock up 5.56, 9mm, and 308 through online vendor deals. But now with that gone and the looming deadline to just walk in a store and buy ammo without background check, I started stocking on the 6.5cm before this year ends.
I had a serious health issue right after getting the rifle so never got to shoot it, but everytime we needed something for the home I'd drive past Target and the local grocery store to go 45 minutes out of the way to the nearest Walmart that sold ammo so I could throw a box of ammo in with whatever I needed. Since I haven't gotten to shoot and I had been randomly buying 6.5cm, had no idea how much ammo I had until I counted tonight, 2100 rounds, about $2k in 6 months since starting April, not bad.Originally posted by gwgn02G-shock, a good way to tell the time, and better way to tell the female variety you are unworthy mating material.Comment

I thought you were going to say thousands of pounds.... Now that would have been impressive.I was a partial owner of a gun store and wasn't sure if I was going to be get out of Cali so I got a ton more ammo to my already overstocked amount.
So Now Im moving to Idaho with HUNDREDS of pounds of ammo....
It is what it is, Ill have it for life, for my kids and for whatever else comes down the pipeline.sigpicC'mon man, shouldn't we ban Democracks from Cal-Guns? Or at least send them to re-education camps.Comment
