Anyone else stuck with too much ammo?

I’m trying to get out of the hobby but am stuck with a very large stash of ammo. The laws make it very difficult to unload it, of course, but I think more relevant might be that so much buying was done in recent years, that now almost no one really needs any more. JMHO.

Selling online is also difficult because shipping makes it almost cost-prohibitive for the majority of buyers. So I find myself giving more and more, away.

Anyone else here in this pickle?

FFLs can do transfers. I'm sure there's people who'd bulk buy it off you if you offered it at a low enough price.

I'm kinda of in the same boat. I'm interested in other hobbies a lot more than shooting right now. I don't even want to know how much 22lr I have and I don't even shoot any of my 22lr guns when I go to the range.

OP, don’t you want to store it for when you get back into it?

I do, and I have stored a mind-bending amount.

But, I am trying to make a move by December (still in OC though), and the stash is still too big/overflowing.

In the old days I would have posted up the excess as “WTS,” but these days even with an FFL 500 rounds is the max limit, right?
