    Never had that issue.
I am usually worried I am low on ammo.

If you don't want to sell it at a loss, consider donating it to a youth shooting project! If the youth shooting project is not-for-profit and has filed their paperwork properly, you can get a tax write-off for the retail value of your donation.
If you need further information, or need a group to donate to, p.m. me.

                Cheers,

Hold on to it, there'll be another ammo crisis. Or at least let it go during another panic. There's always another panic

Or as Dgr1dman suggested, donate it and get a write-off, PM Kestrel or the mods, they'll connect you with worthy causes.

If your coming to ID and the price is right I would be interested in some Barns .300 RUM 165, almost any brand and weight of 45-70 and 38-55 Winchester. The cheaper it is the more I buy.

Just for thought.... Suppose we have a massive disaster such as a richter 9 earthquake? Or something else brings society to a halt for several months? That ammo will be worth a fortune. I think of it as “collapse currency”.

Donald, did you change your username? Have another account? Lol

Sell it. Local FFL near me charges $10 per transfer for any amount of ammo. Not sure if there is a limit but a friend just ordered 2 cases of shotgun ammo for hunting.

I have more than 100 boxes of shotgun ammo. I have to get rid of some.
