Drew, thank you for your comprehensive post on firearms nation wide. It does provide some hope to those of us who hear nothing but bad things. I myself live in CA and have a very liberal family who do not believe in, or own guns. They also support liberal agendas and believe cops and guns are the problem with America, and believe the misinformation and stats they hear.

Hopefully the supreme court will block any further infringement that Gavin Newsom and Bacerra are going to attempt in the coming future of this state.

A State can ban certain guns , but not all guns. If CA wants to ban all semi auto rifles with a removable magazine they can and will.
the SC probably will not stop them from doing it. I hope i am wrong

We're winning the war against guns nationally. It just doesn't look like that because anti-gun urban dwellers write news stories and fictional entertainment; with the later following the Entertainment Industries Council guide showing them how to portray firearms and gun owners negatively.

In District of Columbia v. Heller circa 2008, the Supreme Court affirmed that the Second Amendment protects an individual right to own firearms in common use.

In McDonald c. City of Chicago circa 2010 the Supreme Court held that the Second Amendment restricted state and local governments.

Since then, living constitution Justice Kennedy who voted against certiorari on Second Amendment cases was replaced by originalist Justice Kavanaugh giving us a court likely to vote 5-4 to hear our cases then rule in our favor.

85 year old Justice Ginsburg is likely to die while we have a President appointing originalist justices based on ideological purity and young age, and Republican Senate willing to confirm them.

Those who have tasted and love the God inspired principles of the Constitution, will gather together in the future to fight for it again. The most wicked in this country will be destroyed and the more righteous survive. The scriptures are clear what happens to a country or people when they ripen in inequity. Your apparently referencing the Detestable Mulford Act, which
occurred Over Half a Century Ago, before the NRA changed
course & created the NRA-ILA, and after the "Cincinnati Revolt",
when the New NRA Leadership actively started to push back against
Gun Control, and protecting the 2nd Amendment.

If you Support the 2nd Amendment, your best course of action is:

• Join the NRA, Preferably 5 year or Lifetime so you can Vote.
• Donate to the NRA-ILA, they do the Heavy Lifting in Political & Legal arenas.
• Keep yourself informed on current 2A related events.
• Do Not support the Democrat Party, the party of Gun Control & Bans.
• Support President Trump.
• Support Republican Party.
