I was planning (for months) to attend this show. I knew I'd be fighting crowds though. At the last minute one of the executives of my company asked me to introduce his son to trapshooting (which I did, at Burro Cyn on Saturday).

And two of my other buddies asked for help sighting in their new rifles on Sunday!! Missed the show but at least got a chance to use up some "hoarded" ammo. ;-)

rsb124, how much did that ammo cost ya? I never got close to the ammo cause the crowds were too much to drag my 4 year old son through.

I got there about 9 on Saturday with my son and my brother-in-law. Stood in line for what seemed like an hour or so. As everyone else said, people everywhere. We could hardly move from table to table. I doubt I'll be going back anytime soon but it was an experience. I did find what I was looking for though - a Saiga 7.62 from CWS. Looking forward to picking that up in a couple weeks.

I'm don't go to too many gun shows - haven't for over a decade probably. Are they usually that disorganized? It would have been nice to have different sections for different types of stuff but it seemed like everything was just thrown about.

                  What the heck?

I realllllllly think a lot of you guys here need glasses. $5 is for preferred parking. There is ample FREE parking, and it's not a long walk. They have a tram that takes you back to parking too.

Plus, when walking in the walkway inbetween the gunshow and the swapmeet, I think it's funny to see all the young attractive females who attend the swapmeet on the right, then look to my left and see all the eccentric mostly male gun nuts to my left.

Prices weren't bad for the ammo I was looking for. No .38 special reloads left, so that sucked.

They have plenty of the Winchester Ranger T series 45auto ammo. $34.95 for 1 box of 50. $217 for a box of 500. The $217 was a better deal. I might start selling off a few boxes of 50 for $25 each.
