Which brings us to extended barrels and the fact the the doj has over stepped its authority by saying FFL can't even sell them here even though there's nothing techically illegal about them on their own in case Cali residents want to buy to use only out of state

I’m confused. Is the Roni with the arm brace CA legal or not? Posts above make it sound illegal but I was at the range yesterday and a guy had one. The range master didn’t bat an eye.

For what it’s worth, the seem like a fun range toy. Assuming they’re legal, I’d probably buy one just to have something different to play with.

Most legit ROs don’t care what you have. Just make sure your following safety rules and range rules. He’s not the one getting arrested if you have something illegal, not is it his responsibility. He’s an RO not on duty LEO. Then again LEOs main job is to respond to “calls of service” so if nobody called the cops on you, you should be fine (sarcasm). I’ve seen LEOs training at Burro and didn’t care about ppl with non BBd ARs or 30 round mags.

They are not allowed per doj to sell them through a FFL but are legal to own here they are legal to use out of state (certain models braced angled grip model) they are legal to buy ppt cause what the doj doesn't know won't hurt their feelings and there is no paper trail you could buy out of state but can't get them shipped into the state from FFL's. The doj over steps and assumes you would use it here which is simply presumptuous and above their authority in reality with no actual laws on the books constituting such claims to FFL's to not even be able to sell certain models here

                  That's because...

By itself (not attached to anything), it is CA legal.

When attached to airsoft, it is CA legal.

When attached to a single-shot pistol, it is CA legal.

When attached to a manually operated repeating pistol, it is CA legal.

When attached to a semi-auto pistol with a fixed 10 or less round magazine, it is CA legal.

When attached to a semi-auto pistol that does not have a fixed magazine, it is CA illegal (felony) assault weapon. [PC 30515(a)(4)(B)]

As instructed, CHEEK IT. I have a G-21 MCK. The cheek rest is NOT a butt, it is flexible and the strap is for "stabilizing". There is an extra mag holder, that makes it look like a grip, it's not. The foregrip, is kind of flaky, unless you get the thumb braces. Mine looks nasty.
