initial impression was it’s fake (that the gun discharged much less multiple times)

Looking at it multiple times.. yeah it’s fake

maybe, i thought they might have added the flashes, but it does look some brass bouncing off the booth wall as well.

I am glad people are chiming in. Sometimes I read people complaining about intrusiveness of RSOs. I wonder if these are the same idiots we too frequently observe.

Ideal RSOs would be drill instructor type that set boundaries for safe behavior on firing line. If there is a cease fire and you are still fumbling at your station..time to be kicked out.

I've had it go down the front of my glasses and get held against my face.

Anyway; the guy above that says it burns only a few seconds is literally right. It cools off enough that it stops burning after a few seconds even if you can't get it off of you.

The first time i fired a rifle full auto (I was in the USCG and we had to shoot all ammo that we took to the range) I was fighting the lift by pulling it down. After a few rounds I started hitting the floor about 10 feet in front of me. And thats when it happened. I felt a pain in my gut like I was hit with lead. I took my finger off the trigger and reached inside my shirt to feel for blood. What I found was hot brass. I looked to my left and right to see if any one saw. Nope. I started to shoot once more, all the while saying a little prayer.

Getting hit with hot brass is a gift--a training opportunity. Keep those sights on target and keep firing. There might come a day when you're shooting for real, and you get shot yourself, or get hit by flying debris. If your first response is to jump around like a hip-hop dancer, then you've failed--failed miserably. Maintain focus and composure no matter WHAT is happening around you.

                            Add a new Law

Besides Gun Control, let's get some Range Control going.

Some ranges are just way too lax ...

This event happened in Michigan. The vid was originally posted in a private FB group I'm in. The original poster deleted it quickly but someone snagged it and reposted it. It went viral from there.
