    Is .40 cal a dying breed?
    Nope. Still a good CCW and home defense round, and very popular in competition.
    My friends and family disavow all knowledge of my existence, let alone my opinions.

      I'll say that if I was carrying a heavy and huge Ruger MK-II Government Target with a 7" bull barrel... I could more easily carry my 6" barreled Glock 40 MOS 10mm that shoots a slightly more powerful round but is easy to control and can hold 18 rounds. But a .40 or .45 is good enough... or a 9mm HST. Yep, they are still all handguns.
