custom ear plugs. Most hearing aid places can make them pretty cheap, I paid $35 each for my daughter's and son-in-laws pair.

I love mine, I wear them in the shop, racetrack and of course shooting. That is the only way i was able to justify the price, I use them in multiple places.

You only have one set of ears though and if you use them a lot then it is worth it. More so in the way you do with multiple applications.

Hey off topic but what do guys in the military use? I suspect they have to use something but then again they also need their hearing to be spot on to identify threats. I am always curious.

I believe Costco or Sam's Club can make you a pair of custom molded ear plugs.

Not the highest end protection but I use the Radian's plugs that you mix the 2 compounds like epoxy and insert into your ear for 10minutes or something like that. Nice custom fit and inexpensive. I have several pairs that i'll throw in different pockets of my bag in case i forget/lose the main pair i'll always have a spare.
