For those of you who have a Facebook account, here is an interesting video of a parent who challenged his son's school principal, asking her who authorized his son to leave the school grounds to engage in a gun control protest, and without the parent's knowledge or consent. Its a seven minute video of the principal trying to avoid answering a question, refusing to accept responsibility and accountability.

That video just proves so much. I dont know about anybody else but when i was a kid i left school early a time or two. The cops, and my parents where notified immediately. So like the video shows they are obviously complicate in this shi*. If school saftey is there number one priority why wasent the proper authority's notified immediately once they realized they had such a large number of missing student's on there hands. If a child is lets say kidnapped on any other random day does the school assume the child decided school wasent for them that day and left? Are they then not accounted for until their parents realize later they are misisng?

Somebody got video of the shopping center and posted on YouTube. Unfortunately no video of the raid on McD's or the liquor store.

As you can see this was a solemn, serious anti-gun statement.

When I was in school back in the late 1970's we had some kind of walkout. I can't remember what it was for. Most of the kids just wanted to get out of class. I didn't even participate, and left the school and went someplace to drink beer with some friends. The teachers just closed their classrooms for that period and wouldn't let anyone in even if they wanted to learn. It was a vacation for the teachers also.

At work, we had a 1-day strike. I didn't give a crap about the Union, but I got a free day off to go fishing.

Probably because most private schools are run by religous conservatives and believe in the basis of which this country was founded. Im not religous btw, but alot of folks i know are and they arent down with this get down lol.

My entire 2nd period class walked out at 10:00AM. Six minutes before the end of the period.
I walked out to watch. Not much going on. One girl standing on a table screaming. The students told me later that she was shouting about "the 4th Amendment". Hilarious.
One student was pulled aside because he was wearing a tee-shirt that spelled the word "love" with rifles. Cute shirt.
                  That was about it.
There wasn't even any post-demonstration chatter in 3rd period.

My local HS had a walk out to the center quad area. School size is about 2,400 students about 30-45 walked out and gathered in small group. I saw local news paper cover it and made it seem like the majority of the school walked out. shame

With all the marches, meetings with Trump (and other politicians), 'walkouts,' media interviews, and, now...

Survivors of school shooting take gun control message abroad

...it kinda makes one wonder what these kids are doing about, say...

Those things that supposedly allow them to complete courses which allow them to graduate from high school and move on to college. Are they planning on opting for their GED instead so they can do all these extracurricular activities? Or, are they being given 'credit' for the coursework while spreading an anti-civil rights message around the globe?
