I agree with readysetgo (Post #57). This buyer and this seller were made for each other.

Agree.....12 hours of screwing your day with repeated resets, and you want to retract a negative feedback for a “neutral” one?

    Fugg me.

(BTW, I see the buyer was “Jake Auck” )

Add on: I also canned my plumber for this same kind of appointment resets.....no respect for time and appointments

I see that many here frowned upon how I handled the situation. I'll be honest, I did kinda wanted to just sell the item, so I got impatient with the sale and just wanted to get it over with. But I want everyone to know that their inputs are duly noted and I will definitely handle the situation differently the next time if I ever encounter something like this again. I totally appreciate everyone's input. Thank you guys.

Yes, hopefully the buyer wont fail the DROS.
If he does, expect a request for a full refund.

OP you are too nice! Live and learn.

Guys, don't dog pile a guy for being too nice. Yeah, it occassionally enables crappy behavior in others but people like the OP make the world a better place.

Well said. He was far more patient than I would have been.

Had a similar deal with an engine I was selling. Brand new Chevy crate motor about $800 less than retail. Guy made several excuses on missing appointments and finally said well Pomona Swap meet is this weekend so I'm going to look there too. Told him hope he finds one because I won't sell him mine for wasting my time. He called back hadn't found one and offered me $200 more for mine. Oh well...... no sale deal with your decisions and think of it as a life lesson.

Sometimes when people talk you get the vibe to not deal with them. I just had the same with some that was going to buy something from me. We agreed to a place and he just changed his mind and decided he was not going to drive that far. I broke off the transaction and went with some one else. That some one else worked out just fine with no problems what so ever..,.

You have to start somewhere, and I too agree with giving a 0 itrader a chance. I have been the 1st itrader rating for a few Calgunners. Negative feedback is only if the transaction happened and I don't think that would apply here, just a bunch of BS drama that went on way too long haha.

                              Ya...

But when you are the 0 itrader, it's like when you're on probation at your job.
You do your best to make a good impression.

OP's buyer did his best to fail probation.

I have been the first feedback for a handful of 0 iTraders as well BUT I always find all their posts to see what kind of calgunner they are before I commit to a deal.
