I've got 2 or 3? Contenders. Could never really get in to them, except for a short period of silhouette shooting. Sold most of the barrels.

You've just hit the point of having enough guns so there's less joy in acquiring more. Your new joy in life will be to gift those guns to people that don't have enough guns yet and can't afford to buy them. I'll volunteer to help you out.

If you don't have any black powder guns yet, there's another direction to look. They're lots of fun and off-books. If you're local and want to try before you buy I have a few flavors.

Probably have at least a dozen, BP ML guns. Was in to the Rendezvous thing for quite awhile. Been meaning to break them out again, but haven't got around to it. Started down the BPCR road last year. Had a Browning that I've shot some smokeless through. Bought all the goods to load BP cartridge for it, but that project stalled when it couldn't get the boolits to drop out of the mould at the right diameter. Another project I haven't got back around to.

Sometimes have the urge, but it doesn't last long. Usually starts when I read about someone here buying or wanting something I've got. I see what they paid and think holy ****, I outta sell mine for that kind of money.

Decided to buy a Taylor's 73 short rifle in 38/40. No bueno, can't find one in stock. Taylor's shows they have them in stock on their website, but they don't have any, nor do they know when they will get one from Uberti.

The real problem is you're in California. Your choices are horribly limited and now you're bored. This will only change if you move to a free state or(less likely) the laws get repealed.

Could be, that and the prop 63 B.S. has been a kill joy for sure, but honestly if the Roster and AW ban were repealed, I can't think of anything I'd run out and buy.
