I saw a dozen sleeves of .22 at Wal-Mart and didn't but any. Was wondering what was wrong with me. Now i know.

Same with me. When I look at the gun counter at my local Cabela's, I say "meh". Even the new models don't seem too exciting. Is there Viagra for guns?

I'm channeling my interest to more training. Got a class with the wife in March, then again in May. Maybe some rifle classes in CA in the fall (that should be interesting running featureless again)

Oh yeah, got to start installing all those accessories I bought on my guns LOL

Buy a stock Jeep. All of your free time and 'extra' money will vanish into it.

A buddy of mine bought his kid a Jeep without realizing what he'd done. Keeping a boy busy & broke is a great way to keep him from doing drugs and knocking chicks up.

            That's because Jeep means:

            Just
            Empty
            Every
            Pocket

            I have one, I know.

Oh darn guess I’m there too. I’ve been browsing ads for older Jeep CJ7 and haven’t made a gun purchase for almost a year, not good

Buy a sporty convertible. I had to have room for the wife and the dog so I ended up with a 1st gen Mini with every possible John Cooper Works option including limited slip and a full aero kit. After 10 years, I still love the car. It was great fun humiliating a bunch of 600 HP Shelby Mustangs at Searspoint.

And after landscape work gets boring, there is always studio work. Studio rentals, make up artists, and hair stylists cost a lot more than landscapes do. But you get to meet some really nice people.

One day I woke up and decided I just have too much stuff.
So I stopped buying more stuff.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not bragging. Most of my stuff is total crap, but it is still a lot of crap......

That's about where I'm at. A few years ago I'd buy anything that presented itself off-paper and at a good price from a trustable source. Dozens later I'm still temped with something 'new', but not nearly as much. Adding another caliber sounds like fun, but then I realize it's another die set, shell plate, more boxes of brass & bullets, another ammo box, possibly another powder, ............ Then when it comes time to go shooting I gotta spend hours deciding how many/which to take. It beats the alternative of having none/not enough, but it's a new set of problems and selling them is often hard to deal with, I regret a few sales.

I'm kind of in the same boat. I'm going to be roster exempt pretty soon, and I'm not even particularly excited because I already have all that I want.

That may happen for a month or so, then you suddenly realize that highly desirable gun on Calguns is actually a run of the mill model, available at any time. Point to it in the display case, pay for it and it is yours! Or imagine having the option of buying that Gen5 Glock/PPQ Q5/Sig Legion and actually walking away because you can come back the next week or next month?

Same thing with ammo. Hard to imagine buying ammo by the box, not in quantity, isn't it?
