All the discussion about ammo prices, government intrusion and our rights got me to wonder, how many of us are taking action and getting our COE and 03?

Why wouldn’t you have one in this state especially now? It’s not that expensive at all! Continuing on like nothing happened ( for now ). I did however buy tons of ammo in preparation Incase I couldn’t use my credentials to buy ammo in 2018. I’ll place an online order tomorrow just for the hell of it.NRA ENDOWMENT LIFE MEMBER

I did not take the poll because none of the choices fit my situation. I have a 03 FFL but do not have a COE. It pisses me off that my CCW (CA) does not substitute for the COE - it should. I have both. I bought a 1916 m91 in a parking lot today. And I can still order ammo online. Seems like a no brainer to me.

I’ve had mine for several years. Came in handy for buying some cool older guns, including a 1950’s Ruger Single Six and an East German Makarov.
Since I go back and forth between California and Arizona all the time, I just keep a copy of my 03FFL & COE in my car all the time. You never know when you might find a good deal on a C&R.
Hopefully the courts will grant us relief from these oppressive laws.

Planning to start the process in a few days. Have the COE form for livescan and will get that submitted, then the COE application.
Does the CLEO notification for ATF need to be the local PD in an incorporated city, or Sheriff, or both?

In before the usual spreaders of FUD start with the bogus claims of how doing this will open one up to random warrantless searches and keeping ammo records requirements.
