It is better to believe that ammo will be banned and then be surprized when it isn't, than to believe that ammo won't be banned and then be surprized when it is.
"Did I say "republic?" By God, yes, I said "republic!" Long live the glorious republic of the United States of America. Damn democracy. It is a fraudulent term used, often by ignorant persons but no less often by intellectual fakers, to describe an infamous mixture of socialism, miscegenation, graft, confiscation of property and denial of personal rights to individuals whose virtuous principles make them offensive." - Westbrook Pegler

there's nothing like seeing a lot of ammo in one place!
Uh, you have stated you are 17 years old, how do you even buy ammo? You might want to keep info like this under your hat so to speak. Just a thought.

One shouldn't worry too much abut Ammo at the federal level. One should be very concerned about importing ammo into the state at the state law level.

We will have to fight and will have a much harder time beating an ammo bill in California.

That bill will never pass. Its a colossal waste of taxpayer dollars for all the paperwork to take on, and in this day and age of the state being bankrupt, there is no way they will pass a bill that would require hiring even MORE employees.

My biggest concern is a repeat of what they did with cigarettes. When the liberals can't address an issue head on, they pass legislation under the guise of funding "education" or "health research". I can just see millions of $ being added to ammo sales to fund social programs aimed at stopping violence in the streets of California. The money would, of course, flow through the pet social programs of Feinstein, Newsom, et al.

We have already seen a lead ammo ban and remember the whole Black Talon ammo. I don't that Black Talons were banned but so much pressure caused production to come to a complete stand still.

I am sure the gun banners will follow Europe's example and ban "military" cartriridges, armor piercing ammo also seems to be their go to crap when they talk about which guns need to be banned.

                      Don't bet on that!
The thing with firearms is that they are not like any other consumer product, simple ownership of one carries a lot of responsibility.

I was in Reno yesterday & toady. I called 2 stores to ask about 7.62 ammo. One said was totally out, the other said 3 boxes per person. I should ve asked him if he meant 3 per household as well. The price was 6.00 USD for a box of 15 rounds , some russian brand he said.
