I've been in 3 gun stores in the last 3 days and each one has been well stocked with ammo. Walmart may be out, but ammo is still readily available.

The micro stamping issue is dead in the water. First of all, none of the bills that require it immediately have actually passed. Second, all of the bills that have passed say that it is a good idea and will save the children but will only be required once it is free of patent encumbrances, yadda, yadda. So about twenty years or so.

Dealers are out of stock because 1) Obama has said he wants to reinstate the AWB and 2) people want to be prepared just in case the economy gets so bad that there's social unrest or worse. The store shelves also low on ammo because the military is still consuming ammo at a high rate and the police are building up large stockpiles.

Seriously, why would you spew this garbage without any sort of evidence? Hearing something from someone somewhere does not constitute fact. How did you try to "figure out"? Did you do any searches on the appropriate websites? What did you turn up?

It is this kind of irresponsible propagation of information that is causing a lot of this panic.

Thats enough for me to stock up,its not getting cheaper.
