Round count? Seriously does anyone believe you.. someone posted a rd count for a rifle that was probably 75 years OLDER than they were.. how the hell can you state rd count?

    Just asking....
extras, particularly mags, are sold as package deal and can be $35 a pop.

The firearms in NorCal are better

Yes sometimes the "used firearm" has extras that make up the difference and then some. Other times the seller is 1) not really wanting to sell 2) willing to wait until they get their price (whatever it is) 3) have no clue the real market value 4) looking for a sucker 5) just plain stupid.

Same reason the firearms from dealers are about $50 more at the "gun shows" than you can buy in their stores. Suckers and people who do not know or do not research their buys before going.
A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

        So where you finding a NIB G19 for $425-450 OTD. . A Gen3 G19 for $535 otd is hardly a 15-20% markup

Just another whining about the marketplace thread. OP why do you hate a free market economy so much? Are you a socialist?

Technically correct, but the point is that the street price for a new one is 780 at Bud's...

I missed the FDE part, but there was another example in later post about person asking 500 for a used G19 when Able Ammo has them new for 499.

Again, I've seen many posts where it was similar situation - a used gun that is on the roster being pushed as "cheaper after you take into account taxes and fees." The examples I linked to are not bad in that respect, particularly the USP 9c.

He is new (3 posts, just joined) so it's natural to ask about crazy prices. He didn't come across as "whining" at all. Just a few valid questions. Sure, these threads pop up weekly, but if it's new to the poster, not much we can do except answer his questions.

BTW, there is NOTHING even close to the "free market" economy when it comes to gun market in CA. It's a textbook example of government interference creating highly controlled marketplace. Just because it's "supply and demand" it doesn't mean it's free - North Korean market for Bibles is "supply and demand" too, yet nobody would call it "free market."

The link you posted is for a NIB G19. Keep digging if you really think you have a case. Show me 15-20% as noted in the op. SMH

It was a simple question jackoff.. as far as me being a socialist.. have you ever been, worked, or lived in a country that upholds the true ideology of socialism? Probably not, so infering im a socalist per my question about pricing difference in NoC vs SoC tells me that you are one of the self proclaimed keyboard experts that page seems to have dozens of. I would disagree. The government does not set the price in our marketplace the seller does. If the seller want to list for a dollar he/she can. If the seller wants to list for $10,000 he/she can as well. The market will dictate if it sells.
