Thieves are the lowest form of life out there, except for liberal politicians, of course, but that's redundant.

For those that said it's no different than that putting a car or a motorcycle. Car's and motorcycles are already registered. There is a political party hellbent on making you register your guns, You are doing their work for them voluntarily.

Of all the things on the internet you find this to be odd? I don't find it odd that people enjoy sharing pictures of things they like with other people who like them.

I do agree that there is no anonimity on the internet.

So where is the newspaper article from your "alalogy"?

It just seems odd to put out the info out there for the whole world to see.

At the very minimum posting pics of your entire collection is bad OPSEC.

wouldn't it be PERSEC? (honestly don't know the mil classifications)

I like Chief's response, Come and get'em. Personally I have always wanted to try out my 20lbs AR christmas tree with red, green, purple lasers, flashlight, backup flashlight, Flare Launchers, two forward vertical grips, and painted in urban camo. I keep it under my bed and my front door is never locked. I'll be waiting.

Doesn't make much sense to me either. To some individuals guns are worth much more than $, jewelry, etc., as they may be precluded from the legal purchase route.

It would be foolish for me to post pics of my $78,900 cash that I keep around the house for everyday expenses or my 41 carats of diamond jewelry I wear to make me look pretty. It just gives anyone the incentive to burgle me don'tcha think?

What about having to 'stroke your own ego" by posting pics that SOMEONE could construe as illegal at the cost of time, effort, and MONEY to get off?

It just isn't worth it any way you cut it.

People run away from me when I tell/show them (close knit group only). LOL j/k

Here, you get feedback, good or bad! I wouldn't have known that it was a bad move to loop my raddlock on my ak just for storing it and it doesn't get lost around if I didn't post a pic. Yeah, a minor beating. But good for me to know as I wasn't active here for months late last year and didn't know of it.

Personal experience... I would not know as much (and it ain't much in the first place) if people didn't post pictures. It encourages discussion and learning, in my opinion. Doesn't have to be the whole lot, but posting stuff here and there, inquiring people would like to know sometimes and learn.
